Privacy Notice.

Vesuvio Pizzeria Ltd, 20 Norcot Road, Tilehurst, Reading RG30 6BU. We're the controller of any personal data collected through this website. Questions: eat@vesuvio-pizzeria.co.uk.

We collect the smallest amount of data we can. Specifically:

• Analytics: if you accept cookies, we collect anonymised usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. This is used to understand what works on the site and what doesn't.
• Bookings: when you book a table, the details you give us (your name, phone number, email and anything you tell us about your visit) are sent to Wix, which runs our reservation system and holds them on our behalf. Wix's privacy policy covers how they store them.
• Contact: if you email or call us, we keep that conversation for as long as we need to respond and serve you well.

We use two analytics cookies and that's it. They're only set if you click “Accept” on the banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed, and no usage data is sent.

You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site's storage in your browser. We'll ask again on your next visit.

• Google Analytics 4 (analytics)
• Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps & session replay, anonymised)
• Wix (our reservation system, for the details you give when you book)
• Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat. Their cookies apply when you visit those sites.

Analytics: as configured by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (typically 14 months). Booking and contact data: as required to operate the restaurant and meet our legal obligations.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these, email eat@vesuvio-pizzeria.co.uk.

We'll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
